Medium caramel color. Enchanting aromas and flavors of dried and jellied peach, dried and jellied bitter orange and dried and jellied apricot. Additional hints of banana, chocolate, nuts and burnt caramel, which leads to a slightly smoky finish. Bright and vibrant (but beautifully balanced) acidity. Beautifully rich texture and mouthfeel. Grape, orange marmalade, peach, and slight plum aromas on the nose and palate. Good acidity to wash down the sweetness.

Nov 26th, 2021Explosive in its intensity with rich honeyed apricots, candied fruit, fresh orange peel, ripe mango, aromas of almond nougat, a whiff of red pepper. Yet this is so light, fresh & vivid.
Rich on the palate with a dense mouthfeel, intense honeyed sweetness balanced by fresh citrus acidity. There’s a hint of tannins, a spicy mid palate, a kind of ricotta creaminess, a reminiscence of golden Yunnan tea. And such a looong finish with the rocky, salty, volcanic minerality coming to the forefront at the very last moment.
This has character, a certain magic that makes you fall in love. And it doesn’t let go.

Rich bouquet of dried apricots, raisins, orange peel, caramel notes, field flowers. Fresh, despite the sweetness, oily texture and simply tasty. Paired with lemon tart and it was magnificent.
