Pale, lovely delicate sour acids, softening into fantastic balance after a while, helpfully cutting through the salty anchovies I drank it with. — 3 months ago

Firri Firri Rosé Blend 2021

At 11.5% abv and with a striking salinity to boot, this was firmly in red kabi territory. Loved it! Officially a rosé, but really it’s a light red. Volcanic Poulsard was also another term thrown around on table, and frankly, it was quite apt. Beautiful aromas of pomegranate, tangerine, roses and some herbal hints. The wine just dances on the palate with tangy cranberry notes and lingering saltiness. So yum! — 5 months ago

Terre Siciliane Zibibbo 2020

A succulent Sicilian. Floral nose with notes of honeycomb and fresh-squeezed orange juice. On the palate, citrus flavors gave way to a slight tropical tang after a couple hours. It's supposed relation to the muscat grapes is quite apparent here. 100% Zibbibo. 10/27/22. — 2 years ago
