2019 vintage. Underbrush and certain amount of weediness on the nose. Medium body. Full color. That Graves/Pessac-Léognan milk chocolate texture. Flush and full mouthfeel. Gliding finish. Unexpected balance of fruit and tannins in a pop and pour price range. More oomph (generally) than Malartic Lagravière but less than Chevalier. Drink now? Yes. Drink in 25 years? Probably not. Likely has a end game of 15 years with the sweet spot in the (shocker) 5-8 year range. Picked up at Costco and price was $32 USD. Affordable Graves/P-L not the easiest BDX to source. This was firing from the get go. 7.22.24. — a year ago
2018 vintage. Graphite, cherry and ripe dark plum in the nose. That tantalizing P-L perfectly medium body. Dill, rosemary, cedar, mint and sandalwood adding to the plum and cherry on the finish. “Devolving” a bit as the evident showiness of the last six months is retreating. Wine is a living thing so it’s allowed to have attitude. Crawling back into its’ shell for now. — 3 years ago
Schöner Sangiovese mit ein bisschen Holz und guter Frucht, aber nicht zu unterschätzender Säure. Zum Essen besser als solo, daher nur eine 9,0, P L bei 11 EUR ok — 4 years ago
Always like the fruit transparency in the bottling. Strawberry, raspberry, pink grapefruit and light yeast. The palate is vibrant yet soft, and a bit feminine, possibly because of comparison to the L-P rose.
A delight as usual. And very good value for around $50. — a year ago
White Cap. Stunning. Magic. Nose of slate, lime zest, lime blossom, herbs and just so airy and expansive. A 9.7 nose. Zeltinger Sonnenuhr sweet tart. Palate is expansive and incisive with terrific lime and apple fruit and sweetness from the ripe fruit but not the RS which seems like 3-5 grams p/l. So juicy and invigorating. A brilliant wine. I love love Molitor so much. — 2 years ago

Cuvee 2020 | 60 welschriesling 40 chardonnay, 50% stainless steel, 50% barriques, 131,7 rest sugar g/l. Botrytis smell, gold colour, extremely balance. Best sold wine from Alois Kracher and that is easy to understand. Awesome P/Q ratio. Perfect with blue cheese. — 3 months ago
