Les Sétilles Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020

Somm David T
9.2

Olivier’s craft is impeccable, even in Bourgogne.

Slightly sour Meyer lemons, lime zest, ripe pineapple flesh, green melons, cream, caramel & butterscotch notes, sea spray, oysters, volcanic minerals, shade of mushroom, sea fossils, some ginger, yellow flowers/lilies with greens, round vicious acidity, good balance, well knitted & elegant finish that lasts 90 seconds and long sets on minerals & spice.

Côtes de Gascogne Colombard Blend

Random final grab from the Cheese Shoppe. Zippy but balanced, like lemon with cream or jizzing in your pants. Went well with salmon and also just trying to look on the bright side. — 10 days ago

Les Amidyves Côtes du Ventoux Grenache Blend 2011

Thought all gone. Interesting take of Grenache and Syrah from Ventoux with a solid medium bodied still robust palate. Unfortunately it kinda overpowered the mixed menu of various eats. — 13 days ago
