One of my favorites Very smooth finish, citrus flavor, lemon color. — 8 months ago
Stupid at under $40. Buy all you can.
Green & Golden apple, banana, lemon & lime candy, cream, super soft chalkiness, vanillin, fruit blossoms, spring flowers, jasmine caramel notes, honeysuckle to understated honey, with yellow florals, spring flowers with mixed greens. If you are an acid head (like me) it’s perfect. Excellent long finish that is well balanced, elegant, polished and sings persistently for minutes ending in mid white spice.

Lemon tart and high toned acidity. Would love to have more of this but the price is nutty. — 6 years ago
From a premier cru vineyard slightly north west of the grand cru vineyard and climats. It's really good, but in the gob it's note quite my style of of high acid, bracing Chablis; this is full bodied Chablis with soft, rounder acidity. Nose of white button mushrooms, white flowers, chestnuts, squeeze of lemon, beeswax, white peach and peach skin. — 8 years ago
A lovely, spirited Soave Classico from the Pieropan, utterly fresh and bright with notes of Meyer lemon zest, white flowers, dried honey, and almond extract. Aged on fine lees in concrete, the effect of which is largely textural, lending minerally undertones of wet pomace, and slight autolytic character. A nice lingering finish. Clean and delicious, and I might add, great QPR. — 9 years ago
Half bottle. From excellent 2008 white Burgundy vintage. Lemon veering towards gold color. Nose slightly closed, but with air opens up with subtle aromas of pear, just ripe white peach, hay field, very light touch of oak derivation, light vanilla. Green and red apple. The palate has high acidity, balanced with an almost creamy texture happily bright with green and red apple but more pronounced lime and lemon peel Flavors. Complex. Full bodied and fresh with a lingering finish. Evolution in full bottle must be slower by comparison, but this was just delicious and gone quite quickly... — 9 years ago
Holy crap this is crazy and funky and special. Fresh cut grass, licorice, fish oil, like, so crazy special. It’s been open for 24hrs and the acidity is still through the roof. Silky and fresh but with lemon rind and mouth drying freshness, this is delicious and really unique. — 6 months ago
Pale lemon color with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and spice scents. On the palate complex flavors of apple, peach, pineapple and lemon citrus, well balanced with acidity on a nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with oak, vanilla, mineral and citrus notes, will continue to age. A beautiful Chardonnay. Pair this with a Swordfish steak topped with balsamic roasted tomatoes. — 8 months ago

Smooth, lemon zest, refreshing, citrus. — 8 years ago
2014 vintage. The best Sav Blanc I've ever had. And I've had every Merry Edwards vintage since 2009. Prickly pear, tangerine, lemon. Elegant. — 8 years ago
Pale lemon color.
Aromas of lemon, mineral, nuts.
Dry. Flavors of lemon, peanut, pastry. Nutty notes are odd, but not unpleasant.

Purchased during September 2022 visit to the winery. Lemon, pear and cantaloupe, with honeysuckle, almond and minerality. Lightly oaked. — 7 months ago
Not ready for prime-time just yet, but that didn’t prevent us from committing the felony.
Pale straw color in the glass links up with lemon curd and a hint of gooseberries. Robust acidity frames this up nicely. Finishes taught and with urgency. Drinking the best wines in the world can be a little like fumbling around in the dark. But with this, I can see in the dark. — 8 months ago
Lemon mousse. — 2 years ago
Nice golden hue, looks heavy and rich in the glass. Honeyed fragrant nose. Notes of sweet apricot, mango, lemon, white clay, tan spice, and stones. Nice intensity in the mouth, with gobs of fruit matched against acidity that built over the afternoon. Telltale aged Raveneau honey, exotic today but not over the top. I brought this and it was the best of the couple or so bottles of it that I've had. Was at its best with ~5 hours of air, and leftover was still singing the next morning. — 5 years ago
Structured but recognizably Californian, not to be mistaken for French--lighthearted American lemon cream pie of the most serious variety. — 7 years ago
Honey-lemon curd, grapefruit and light oaked almond-walnut notes; flattend acidity in the end. Delicious with spaghetti alla vongole — 8 years ago
Apples, lemon pith and a touch of creamy brioche. Bubbles are nice and relatively fine. Super tasty. — 9 years ago

Loads of verve. Driven by lemon zest, salinity, mint and dried rocks. Just beautiful tension that elongates the wine to a long, lingering finish. Second-favorite vineyard for Chardonnay in California that encapsulates the very best the state has to offer. Top class. Paired with lemony shrimp scampi — 6 months ago
