Fresh, intense, almost zingy lemon contrasts with minerals and earth, it’s a nice range of terroir to complement the zesty fruit. Additional interest comes from the lemon rind and bergamot notes. Paired beautifully with sushi. It plays with refinement vs exemplifying it, but in a way we found delightful for the occasion. — 9 months ago
This is the Chanson/Bastion G-C…decanted 90 mins….lovely Burgh, very refined/subdued, but lacks depth to me, turned a bit sour late. Maybe a bit more earth than I like? Really lingering over it. J loves it — 3 years ago
Aromas- white flowers, chalk, lime. Tastes: acidic, flavors come together in harmony, some oak, light peach. — 2 months ago
Such nice purity & freshness here.
White flowers, white peach, an almond note, a whiff of fresh croissants.
On the palate this is medium bodied yet nicely linear & with brilliant balance between the breadth and the fresh white currant acidity. Nice depth and impressive length with the stony minerality & almonds bitterness coming to shine.
This is a very nice one and, at 12% alc, drinking dangerously fast! — a year ago
Elegant, food-friendly, great acidity, minerally and savory. — 3 years ago
[50% Pinot Meunier, 25% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay] This shows lovely tight mousse, some green apple from the Chardonnay, longish finish, very nice 1er Cru!! — 5 months ago
J/fallow - easy to drink, not dry, light — a year ago
2nd bottle not as good as the first one. More muted overall. Still a nice wine. — 2 years ago
