From a Napa vintage that I recall as being so-so, this wine shows the Howell Mountain terroir without the normally harsh tannins that were characteristic of Dunn HM wines in the 1980s. But, honestly, this is really lovely, suave, red fruited, with a medium-long finish, and seems way younger than I expected from a 37-year-old Napa Cabernet!! — 2 days ago
Excellent excellent. Decanted for two hours before being consumed and then enjoyed over next 3+. Weighty and very heady. Dark rich fruit aged but not dusty. I feel this wine is in the zone. — 2 days ago
v10. Very good! Toasty vanilla and tobacco nose. Bright, rich, dark blackberry, plum and tar fruit. Long, bold, slightly astringent tanned leather finish. Still aging!!! — 4 days ago
I adore this woman maker in the Dolomites, but my friends felt this white blend too suave for the setting (San Juan, PR) — 2 months ago
Quite light spices , coffee , sous bois , herbal hints . On the palate this has good density and spicy , menthol , dark coffee stained fruit , some slightly gritty tannin . It comes across as quite ripe but with balanced acidity and quite good menthol tinged length . This was served blind from a half bottle . I was putting this in the 80s and Napa , not Bordeaux! This had to do with the texture and quite ripe , generous fruit profile . Drinking perfectly now , I wouldn’t wait any longer — 11 days ago

Some buzz around this producer so approached with some anticipation. Restrained white flowers & confectionery Turkish delights on nose; mouthfeel quite smooth & elegant, w a stronger Riesling & Chenin Blanc presence, more of those white flowers & some RS. I’ve aged some other producers Timorasso w excellent results so see no reason this can’t do same, but this is drinking well young too. — 7 days ago
