Beautiful cuvée with age. Bottle bought 10 years ago and likely disgorged around 2010 or so.
Black cherries, liqueur tangerines, dried stone fruits, blackberries, mix of black raspberries/raspberries, rainier cherries, delicate but razor sharp chalkiness, limestone, sea spray, sea fossils, bread dough, baguette crust, soft wine spice, rainbow, floral bouquet, shape acidity, good tension, excellent structure & balance. The finish is elegant with power that lasts minutes. Excellent with Duck Confit, goat cheese with herbs.

Overly cold unfortunately which mutes much of the flavour you would expect from this 1er Cru from the excellent 2014 vintage for white burgundy made by the baby faced assassin Henri Boillot. I might add to this note once it has warmed up. Very lemony. — 10 months ago

This burgundy started off tart and transformed with air. It was darker and fuller bodied than I expected. It almost had some syrah notes — furry purple flavors. $99, 93 pts RP. — 8 months ago
Enjoyed it for Christmas 2022 for the aperitif with blinis caviar and scallops bacon — a year ago
An earthy nose with violet, dark plum, blackberry, hints of sage, Iodene, leather. Hot at first but with air has softened and integrated. Good stuff — 8 months ago
Definitely an interesting wine, showing a bit of age, touch cloudy, a dollop of bret, the texture was great, silky and supple, the wine was pretty compelling but not quite my style. — 2 years ago
Nice perfect with soft shell crab. #from the wine shop where Jay is. — 4 years ago

Bright light golden color. Fragrant aromas of baked apple and pear along with notes of white flowers and wet stones. The palate is full of apple, pineapple and orange flavors. Hint of baking spices on the very long and chalky finish. Quite full bodied, intense and powerful. Rich and concentrated mouthfeel. Thanks Kase! — 3 months ago
