Beautiful bottle. Classic cab w terroir — 5 months ago
(En Magnum)…One to live forever, but with proper aeration it’s plenty giving, perfumed and seductive with a powerful, vibrant and structured palate with killer Grand Cru density and stunning length that seemingly never dissipates. For the long haul! — 7 months ago
Easy drinking, delicious. I could drink this every day. — 8 years ago
Very smooth, velvety. Sherri, you'd like this one! It's a Trader joes find 😉 — 12 years ago
Smooth like silk, red fruit still there with soft tannins and long finish — 4 months ago
Initially tannic but this is full bodied and lush as it opened up — 5 months ago

In a great spot after an hour of air. A fantastic complement to lamb chops. Bravo, @Mike Smith! — 4 years ago

Best Mike Smith value out there. Rutherford GIII. Nice. Needs some time but a bargain. — 11 years ago

Slow oxed for 2 hours. Excellent nose! Seems a bit extracted and big though — 5 months ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary aromas of bananas, tart cherries, and violets; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, medium alcohol, light body, and pronounced primary flavors of pomegranates, strawberry jolly ranchers, and clay pots with a medium finish. This wine is exactly what it should be. Cheap and cheerful. Overall, I rate this wine as good. — 6 months ago
Pure and lifted. Black cherry fruit and underbrush. Pretty and starting to drink well. — 7 months ago
Pop and pour. Notes from 4 hrs open. On the nose: freshly cut honeysuckle, then loads of flowers, mint, soft honey and wet stone. On the palate: excellent acidity, wet stone, ginger, medicinal herbs, fantastic density. Better than my last btl...definitely one of my condrieu standards. Yum! — 5 years ago

Opened just prior to dinner. The 2008 Coteau de Vernon pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of peach cup with the pears and cherry too. There’s white flowers, honey, fresh mint and other herbs too. Wow! On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and oily. This bottle came across young. A benchmark Condrieu. Drink now through 2038. — 4 months ago
