A bit more on the cherry cola rather than just cherry end of the spectrum than I prefer, but nonetheless nice — 7 years ago
A little heavier than I remember but fully mature and fun to drink with friends. — 7 years ago
Glorious Pinot Noir on new years eve, non dosage, no sulphur, creamy and extraordinary champagne. — 7 years ago
Great focus, operating on a moderate wavelength. Not the most expansive but not a laser down the palate either. Golden apple, cured lemon, pecorino rind, salty brioche dough, crushed chalk and oyster shell. Briny and mineral across the back palate. Beautiful for the price! — 8 years ago

The darker side of Rivers Marie. Where all of the Occidental bottlings share red fruited characteristics this is more black fruits and fresh earth. The supporting acidity and the hours it still takes to open up give me hope that it should continue to develop in bottle. — 7 years ago
Light body, lots of red fruit, a little earthy, low tannins. Really great everyday red that pairs well with a wide variety of food. — 7 years ago

Like a California smile on an eq - lots of acid on one end balanced by tree fruits on the other. — 10 years ago
Monkey 47 Dry Distiller Gin. Slightly hazy, water white, colourless. Pronounced intensity of perfume, juniper, lingonberry, violets, lavender, orange and grapefruit zest. With water added, more perfume and citrus notes to the fore. Dry on the palate. Warming alcohol, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity. Long finish. Very complex. Outstanding example of a premium gin. — 11 years ago
The splashy label gave me pause and I approached with caution, but once I tasted, I was hooked. Fruity and warm without being a fruit bomb. Strong finish with stewed fruit and a hint of star anise. I would enjoy this all night solo hit it begs for food. — 11 years ago
Lush, succulent Pinot…dark ruby on pour, dark fruits rise out of the glass setting the stage for an enjoyable first sip…no noticeable tannins…lingering finish…this vintage is in a really good place today — 4 years ago
Dry, savory and vibrant. — 6 years ago
Nose has maraschino cherry, sliced pear, wet chalk, mashed raspberry and dry minerals.
Palate has chalky ripe cherry, granite pebbles, fresh blood orange pith, fresh raspberry and light strawberry-raspberry jam. Wow, long finish, we're both smiling a lot on this bottle.
More cherry fruit than most Crémant de Bourgogne rosés we have enjoyed, just amazed! At $32, it's hard to find a better saignee of Pinot Noir brut rosé than what is in this glass, QPR delivered! — 7 years ago

2014 vintage. Surprisingly well balanced for such an inexpensive wine. Fairly tannic with luscious dark berry/cherry notes and quite a bit of spice. Long and lovely finish. Good value red blend. — 8 years ago
