Drink Now! Dark berry and coffee on the nose. In the glass a little bit of refined earth. Dark cherry. Not very acidic. Herbal on the finish - Elderberry? Very elegant and delicate. The opposite of an in your face wine. A beautiful textbook Volnay. From a lesser vineyard but hey Mark Haisma is a magic winemaker. An excellent food wine salmon, duck or coque aux vin. Was sold by Amitie Wines online. But they will not sell the 2013 as the quality was not there. — 11 years ago
