Drinking from a 1.5ml magnum sized bottle with ten years on it. Medicinal cherry fruit and a heavy amount of funky ass brettanomyces. The wine is so rich and layered. I can see how the bretty flavors could bother some people. Drinking with Popeyes sweet & spicy chicken wings. This wine reminds me of the incredibly rare 3 Fonteinen Sharbeekse cherry beer made with special cherries. The funky reductive & brett flavors mellowed as the wine opened up. — 16 days ago
Tightly wound nose, lots of beeswax, white florals and some stone fruit, rounded by oak. Palate in unfortunately alcohol-first (I guessed 14.5 but it’s 15!) but layers of texture. Good bit hot, more pedigree than magic — 8 days ago
Deep golden hued with a bit of frizz ( don’t remember this being that way) ripe and quite tasty — 4 hours ago
Cherry, hay, earth, Cola... Typical nose that I now associate with cru Morgon. It feels young and like it could wait on the side for another 3 to 5 years 😅
The palate is delicious. There is a great acid drive, there is some width, some lovely, crunchy (somehow) cherry notes, some tannins in the rear that are not so common in Beaujolais cru wines, before a long and complex finish with different layers : cherry and hay, that tannic layer and a reminiscence of the nose with a Cola touch. This is great and it will probably get better with some age! — 15 days ago
Nariz a ciruela y chocolate pero con buen alcohol presente. Primera impresión es que estaba en decadencia pero luego de un dia de guarda, segundo turno fue impresionante. Buena complejidad con taninos y frutas balanceadas. Cuero, ciruela, pimienta, chocolate. Post gusto profundo y largo. Espectaculo! — 12 days ago
