Bright light golden color. Fragrant aromas of baked apple and pear along with notes of white flowers and wet stones. The palate is full of apple, pineapple and orange flavors. Hint of baking spices on the very long and chalky finish. Quite full bodied, intense and powerful. Rich and concentrated mouthfeel. Thanks Kase! — 15 days ago
2015. By the time we added this delicious Burgundy to the table while we were still enjoying the Diel Extra Brut Sekt and the R. Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Gran Reserva Rosato it created a perfect spectrum of colors and flavors to match the dishes prepared by the Boiler Room chefs. A great way to usher in the New Year! — 3 months ago
Rich, buttery nose. minerals, high end peanut butter and deep sea air. Wood shavings. Palate is rich and velvety with top top texture. Such great acidity and cut and a wonderful, very integrated finish. Amazing sap and purity. As this airs it gets so elegant and even more integrated. — 4 months ago

I opened this bottle of the 2013 “Cuvée Marie Beurrie” the day before and poured into a ship’s decanter for a couple of hours before returning to the bottle. In the glass, just, wow. This is developing still with the darkest brambles and stone with purple flowers and garrigue. This is so beguiling, so deep with tannins and acid for days. Full of power and grace and stunner with cassoulet, Toulouse sausage and duck confit. This could use another decade easily and drink well through 2053. — 12 days ago
