excellent for a casual evening — 3 months ago
Deep ruby in color; smoke, cigar box, and black cherries on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, cherries, plums, and a little eucalyptus with a long finish. I didn't think I would like this wine based on the aromas, but I am really enjoying it. — a month ago

I know that this should be aged some time but had my brother in law visiting and he is a SB fan. Pulled this out of the cellar for him. Typical SB profile, balanced and a nice round creamy moutfeel. But other than that: I didn't taste the difference between this and a 15€ supermarket sauvignon blanc. Supposedly this is the top of Sancerre.... Maybe complexity will develop in a couple of years time but for now underwhelmed 🫣 — 9 days ago
