Classic! BRight fruit (strawberry), crisp acidity, perfect for summer (and sushi)! — 9 days ago
Forgot to take detailed notes, but this was nice. Not really any carbonic / natural / “new agey”notes, just a solid classically made gamay. Definitely has some structure, opened 4 hours before serving which was good. Didn’t sing on any one dimension of fruit / earth / acid / length / texture but was nice overall. — 2 months ago
Love this 1er Cru and these 2022’s are really coming into their own these last 2 months after being a bit hurly burly. Nose is deep cherry, wild mint, gorgeous florals and minerals but overall an impression of thoroughly ripe fruit. Palate is so juicy and sleek. Huge fruit. So deep and the vivid red cherry fruit soaks into the palate like a crash of waves. The white caps being the ripe and sweet tannins. Such a killer vintage for Laurent. This has the guts for 10-15 years of aging. So juicy. Can’t wait to see how air hits this. Watch this space. — 22 days ago

You cannot really ever go wrong with a value CDR selected by Kermit Lynch. Well rounded fruit with subtle tannins and balanced acidity. Quaffable all day long. — a month ago
very attractive aromas of toasted brioche, raspberry, lavender, and black cherry, and it is dry and inviting, with pure red fruits that fill the palate, with its florality lasting long after the finish, with a cleansing lift of salinity — 20 days ago

Almost bandol rose-like on the nose. Quite bright… light red cherry with a steeliness and salinity. Young. A little simple but with age may soften into something interesting — 9 days ago
