Terres d'Encre Saint-Joseph Syrah

Mixed berries, licorice. Polished with minerality and savory aromas. Great with roast chicken over charred onions and croutons.

Racy acidity jumps out with fruit-forward dark red fruits surprisingly drinking very well for its youth. Dense earth/clay, supple spices and tannins. Gorgeous wine, great with lamb shanks.

I have been digging the Rhone wines I have had recently. Really good now. Has almost an earthy base before some nice ripe berry fruit starts showing.
