A great, reliable French chardonnay that we get when we see it. This one performed well in it's 10th year, with nice body and smooth finish. — 3 months ago
Pretty color of peach.
Fresh nose of red fruits with citrus and herbs.
Medium bodied with medium acidity and nice complexity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, strawberries, citrus, apples, sea salt, grapefruits, herbs and spices.
Tangy finish with limes and light almonds.
Elegant and fruit forward. Soft and smooth. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
Good by itself or with food.
Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years, and see how it evolves.
A blend of 65% Mourvèdre and 35% Cinsault. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
90 points.

Gift from Mike Wolff. Kept for a few years and enjoyed with some shrimp and chips. — 4 months ago
Intense and pretty with a bit of VA on the nose at first that blows off. Very pure fruit but still young and quite gnarly. Serious stuff, dark and intense. Will this ever dance lightly? I don’t know… impressive but less drinkable now that the 2000 alongside. — 18 days ago
My first time tasting this producer, I would be lying if I said I did not have very high expectations. Scents of earth , flowers, spice and oak. As one would expect from this vintage fruit but it is not overdone that is joined at the hip with some serious mineral overtones. I have no clue what this sells for at the cellar door but secondary prices have to be based on one thing, scarcity. — 3 months ago

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, light oak, licorice, chocolates, herbs, spices, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf, coffee and black pepper.
Long finish with round tannins and cherries.
This 22 year old Mourvèdre from Bandol still feels fresh and engaging. Elegant, and starting to peak now. Well balanced and rich. Spicy and entertaining.
A gorgeous wine that will continue to drink nicely in the next 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle and a great sipping wine. Fruit forward, complex and interesting.
