Just a solid chianti Riserva, drank with NY pizza then again the next day after vacummed and store in fridge with pollo ala francese,. Was great both days. — a month ago
A nice lighter cherry that is dry but with appropriate fruit. Great with pasta and red sauce. October 2025. — 2 months ago

A nice neat Chianti Classico that is light and yet has a robust taste that has a nice finish.

Very full bodied and heavy. Cherry leather pepper . Good with a steak . A little sweet we had at felsina winery in Tuscany — a month ago
I have enjoyed many vintages of the excellent single vineyard Reserva (Bucerchiale) from Selvapiana, but the fruity 2018 is one of the more satisfying ones. Perfumed red and black fruit aromatics soar from the stemware. It is Medium >full, balanced and well structured with crisp acidity and light tannins at the satisfying finish. This Sangiovese star from the Rufina appellation East of Florence, always punches well above its price point. If you’re unaware of it, time to check it out. (It continues to identify it as 2013, but please note it is 2018.)

Deep Ruby color with aromas of red and black fruits, floral and smoky oak, mostly Sangiovese with small amounts of Canaiolo, Colorino, and Malvasia Nera, from Rufina subzone. On the palate flavors of blackberry, black cherry and plum flavors with garden herb notes, cacao and tobacco notes. Fine rustic tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and an earthy smoky spice character. Nice! — 2 months ago
Very good, as always (my third vintage). A cherry, strawberry, leather, vanilla and smoke maybe. High, pleasant acidity. Tannins on their way to smoothness. — 3 months ago
Had with steak and Caesar — 4 months ago
So balanced, so complex, fruit, leather, spice. Everything you want in Chianti. The rating on delectable is shocking for price. — 4 months ago

Concur with WS review with respect to the flavor profile, albeit with a slightly lower score. Complex set of flavors. Potentially age-worthy.
WS:93. Featuring black cherry, blueberry, mint, iron and Tuscan scrub flavors, this solid red is built for aging, with ripe fruit returning on the long finish. All the components are there -- this just needs time. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2024 through 2040. 19,100 cases made, 4,000 cases imported.

Chianti classico from Banfi and this reliable producer always delivers quality. It's typical: high acidity, but medium tannins, very dry. A cherry, leather and touch of vanilla. — 2 months ago
Seriously good Chianti. Black cherry, candied orange, tobacco leaf, nice acid and full body. Maybe even too good for pizza…but good with pizza — 2 months ago
This up-front, fleshy Chianti is drinking really nicely right now. Pretty extroverted nose shows dark, macerated cherry, iodiney minerality, and a little loamy soil. In the mouth it’s pretty full, with a big whack of fruit initially, some tertiary notes developing and becoming apparent in the back half of the palate. Decent acids and still some soft tannin providing some scaffolding. I’d like a bit more linearity and persistence in the finish but for a ‘18 it’s darn nice. — 2 months ago
Deep ruby color.
Aromas of dried red fruit, cured meat, dried herbs.
Dry. Flavors of dried rose petals, sun-dried tomato, dried cherry, dried tomato leaf, dried basil, licorice, peppercorn. Rich, chewy tannins. Exceptional!
