This wine is intense and complex, but a little off balanced. The earthy, bitter flavors are a bit overpowering. Overall, I rate this wine as good. Probably needs to breath.

Had this with pasta and a vodka sauce, and garlic bread. Delicious Wednesday night! Pillow - soft in the mouth. Cherry, tar, old mohagany. Tannins integrated enough to drink on its own, but with the food- lovely.

Nice wine very tight when first tasted. After some aeration /decanting came into its prime. A beautiful. Classic Chianti. The tannins needed to calm down and then all the different nuances came forth. Still at Costco.
