Yes…I know..a tad too early. But any chateau that has a lighthouse (built 1611 AD) in the middle of its vineyards deserves a look. And I’m so glad I did. Classic Bordeaux profile made up of 60% Cab, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit V. With a QPR of $18 this Mèdoc is simply crushing it. Cellar worthy? Absolutely! 😎 — 12 days ago
Medium deep ruby, quite narrow ruby pink rim . Dark creme de cassis , blackberry , with earthy , mineral , grafite touches , quite inviting and open , though still classic in style . On the palate more cassis , grafite , blackberry , quite juicy and round , but with balanced acidity and alcohol , rounded but noticeable tannins . Ok length . Drinking well now and will age well over the next 5-10 years — a month ago
