Good freshness. Not a bruiser. Nimble with food. Lovely wine for the price. — 2 months ago
This is not quite the steal it once was but still the best QPR by miles at Trader Joe’s. A nice right bank Bordeaux with acidic cherries, pencil shavings, vegetal notes, and grippy tannins. — 8 months ago
1986 vintage. 5 bottles tasted for a 1986 vintage BDX dinner @ Mister A's-San Diego. This was up against other 1986's Pichon-Lalande, Beychevelle, Gruaud-Larose, Montrose and Cos. Double decanted and tasted over 5 hours. Respectable sed. Effin pop and pour now. Right right now. The clear winner. So good with balance and enough fruit without having to reach or rationalize. If you're not able to access for 7-10 years, you should be okay. Delicious. 3.14.24. — 3 months ago

2020 vintage. Investigating +-$20 red Bordeaux, part two. PNP. Some decent depth for the price. Medium body. Good concentration. A little, minty note amongst the chunk. Finish hangs in there for a spell. In this price range, would tap this again. 5.28.24. — 10 days ago
