Nice tertiary notes of mushroom and forest floor. Fruit is still present albeit somewhat muted. Enjoyable but not the very best from the climat. — 6 months ago

Beautiful expressions of red cherries, tart blueberries, red and violet florals and ample cinnamon and clove spice. — 7 years ago
Too young but excellent wine in the making — 8 years ago
I will surely regret opening this young, luckily I have more bottles going into storage.
Fresh cherry, rose petals and nose of voilets with velvet smooth finish, but so much potential. We'll revisit the bottle tomorrow as assuredly it needs lots of air time to see a fuller experience at its current vintage stage. — 8 years ago

This 2002 started out a bit tight with the fruit hanging back but about 20 min in the glass unleashed a different animal - fleshy, deep and amazing elegant fruit - what a fabulous wine — 11 years ago
Juicy fresh — 13 years ago
I bought this for 40 dollars in Paris in 2004. It has survived 2 cross country moves since then. I was worried it would be dead or over the hill. The cork was crumbly. But the wine was incredibly wonderful. I have been meaning to drink this for 10 years but kept delaying. Still lots of primary fruits along with the forest and other 2ndary flavors. This is why Burgundy can be so entoxicating to people. It so often disappoints, but not this time. Too bad wines like this are now so far beyond my means or desire to pay. — 7 months ago

Slow oxed for 2 hours. Excellent nose! Seems a bit extracted and big though — 5 months ago
biodynamic, native yeast, 20% new oak, 14-18 months. floral, violet, raspberry. silly. integrated tannins. lower acid but certainly not flabby. lovely. — 5 years ago
Bright crunchy fruits right out of the gates. Terrific tension and acidity. Excellent wine and blew away (and felt stylistically different) than a ‘14 we tried alongside it. — 6 years ago
1996 vintage. At Ryozanpaku in Kyoto, Japan. Medium garnet - slight bricking around the edge. Medium intensity of aromas, manure, earth, blackberry, violet creams and savoury spices. Fairly complex if slightly mature. On the palate, good fresh acidity, medium body and noticeable rounded tannins. The mid palate is flavoursome and impressive. The finish is slightly short. Probably won't benefit from further ageing. However, I suggest giving the wine 30 minutes of air before serving. — 9 years ago
