Domaine Anne Gros
La Combe d'Orveau Chambolle-Musigny Pinot Noir

Good wine. Not great given the lieu-dit and neighborhood. Freshness is wavering. Reminiscent of Cecile Tremblay ripeness and extraction. As the wine gets to room temp it's too ripe, hot & bothered, and arguably a kissing cousin to Gros Minervois.

Surprisingly, one of my first chambolle wines. I imagined it would be more masculine than it is. Nonetheless, a gorgeous wine with acidity to carry it for decades. Looking forward to opening more next year.
