Biodynamic and beautiful. Zero dosage and aged for six years, the strength here is balance and purity. Terroir driven and electric, this is an incisive and focused champagne. Nose is so airy and mineral with a bit of fat but not much. Seashells. oyster bed, some green apple and lovely wet rain effect. A scene in nature as I like to say. Palate is rich and ripe but with so much nerve and energy and an icing on the cake like texture. Great purity, density and concentration. Long, tangy finish. Really compelling and a bit cold and young so will follow. Nose gets some lemon curd and spice now with air. Wonderful combo of opulence and tension. Really nailed the vintage. — 4 months ago
