From Grand Cata $23 drank 10/28/2025 — a month ago
Per Barcelona and online review of 2022 vintage. Good value at $45 or 100 percent markup only. We received 2020 statt the 2022 I had expected. Color okay. Much reduction. Not pleasant. Disappointing. — a month ago
Probably from last Chambers sampler. 11/8/25 Cold Night. Very dark pour, potent scent out of bottle. Black fruits on nose. Moderate tannins. Solid sediments on second day. — 11 days ago
From Chambers, based on their email promotion. Dark purple, opaque. Natural wine bubble gum, sweetness but still some of the roundness and completeness of 1980s left bank wines. Lots of fine tannins. Pairs extremely well with mushroom dish. — 24 days ago
From Grand Cata, with lasagna for P&J on 10/13/2025. — a month ago
At Karavan. Unremarkable. — a month ago
Gift. Drank 11/1/2025 with porcetta dish. Lively bright maybe natural. From the region introduced by Frieder in October 2014 the Frankfurt book fair and from the monastery visited with Oda on hike. Juicy. — 18 days ago
First of three bottles from Chambers, 10/24/25. Bright purple. Bubble gum and blackberry nose, with wafting of evergreen (not pine nor juniper; more spruce or hemlock). Light ravishing tannin. A bit green — needs to open up? — a month ago
From Chambers? on 10/12/25 for L Geb. We adore this vineyard and remember fondly our visit after the ferry from Medoc. Disappointing—flat, zero tannin, one dimensional. More coming in the next batch from Chambers – we will drink immediately. — a month ago
John Hagood
From Cork Wine Traditions after concert on 11/16/2025. Nose and first sip return us straight to northern higher altitude Burgundy. Bright red. Good acid, low alcohol. Following sips a little weak and off-dry. Cherry, cranberry, a bit of wood (rosemary, cedar). Licorice. — 3 days ago
