On the palate flavors of peach, golden apple and melon with white floral and herb notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit, herb and yeasty notes, lively acidity with slight smoky mineral character. The initial taste had me as it was so delicate with the red fruit that seemed to gain strength in my mouth. The green note is there but only really as an accent on the finish. CF from Loire Valley is under appreciated. — a month ago

@Doug Powers indeed, it’s a great winery with iconic wines. The cepage is Cab Sauv, Cinsault and Carignan. I still have the 2011 in magnum for my daughter her birthyear 🤩
