Got for a steal locally. 15ys on an Aussie Grenache had me curious how it was holding up…
Followed over a few hours from bottle. It could have maybe been double decanted to get some quick air to it as it is still rocking quite the tannin, but it smoothed out quickly. Ripe purple and black fruits (roasted plum, blackberries, black currant) aromatically mixed with sweet tobacco. No menthol/eucalyptus but a distinct sweet note on the mid-palate. Dark, juicy, ripe fruits with old fig jam. Age starting to show itself at the finish. Alcohol started to poke out as it warmed. Drink up. — 2 months ago
Lovely Aussie Cab. Not too big and overbearing. Ripe red currant, eucalyptus and smoke. — 3 years ago
This Aussie GSM was much richer than most Rhône wines that I’ve enjoyed - more red fruit and compote. Enjoyable albeit not overly complex. — 8 days ago
Wow wow and wow, never had such an fantastic Aussie Chardonnay, in a line up with top Burgundy I expect 9 out of 0 people would go wrong (including myself). Light greenish color, what a smell, yes its oaked but just right, classic chardonnays smells but all very elegant, modest, light. In the mouth super elegant, fresh, apple, good accidity, chalky, again wow!! I am a big fan. — 3 months ago
Classic Aussie Bordeaux blend. Unmistakably New World with the deep dark fruit on the nose and the full bodied round opulent style on the palate. Not enough tannin or acid to balance the super-ripe fruit. — 3 years ago

Fantastic Grenache Syrah. Easy and a bit smoky. Great with a nice steak! — 3 years ago

This Aussie Chardonnay could easily pass for a Chablis with its freshness and minerality. Very enjoyable. — 14 days ago
