Absolutely fabulous. So fresh and vibrant. Classic Heathcote Shiraz at its peak. — 2 months ago
Delightful as always. Shared with my sister. — 5 months ago
In its prime. Opened a day after trying the 100pt 2021 at the winery. The 2005 is a different beast entirely as it was made by Bailey Carrodus and the 2021 by Sarah Crowe the current winemaker. So much brambly fruit with rich opulence underpinned by fine tannins. Wonderful mature wine. — 6 months ago
Drank after the 1990, much more overt after the sophisticated 1990. Iron fist in a velvet glove. Still so youthful. Truly amazing wine. — a month ago
Classic Torbreck. Layers of flavor including cherries, spice backed by rich chocolate. Lovely drink for a cold winters night! — 3 months ago
Never disappoints. Gorgeous. — 6 months ago
Extraordinary. I drank lots of these in my youth, they were amazing then and even better now. My last bottle shared with my brother for his birthday. Cork was in good shape and the wine was still fresh and vibrant. No signs of brown in the colour and the nose had no signs of decay. Opened up slowly in the decanter and then really evolved. So voluptuous with such fine integrated tannin and subtle chocolate all in harmony. Such an amazing wine leading to the opening of the 1998! — a month ago
My first bottle of this 20yrs ago was virtually undrinkable. 20 years later at 25 years of age this is a lovely mature burgundy with chocolate and spice and rich tannin. Not much up front fruit but a lovely drink. — 4 months ago
I am always looking for a good Australian Viognier. Well I have found another one. Up there with Yeringberg and Clonakilla for quality. Gorgeous floral nose followed by a rich plump palate with subtle spice. Lovely. — 6 months ago
