Pre Book of Mormon beverage in Melbourne, Australia. Incredible aromatics. Think balls of oolong tea prior to adding hot water, followed by ever so soft whispers of rain soaked bitumen, sensual winter black truffles, espresso & dark chocolate. Such an electrophorus wine. — 8 years ago
2011, not a good year for Cabernets in the Barossa, ok in McLaren Vale but the Shiraz's excelled. Not the best year but good quality. Dark cassis, blackberries, expresso, dark cherries, full tannins...sticky, fine & dark, black plum, whispers of blue fruits, rhubarb, dry cranberries, caramel, light vanilla, soft warm spices, soft leather, crushed rocks, dry red florals, nice acidity and a finish that is simultaneously ripe and dry. — 9 years ago
Like a waterfall of silk on the naked body of my tongue 👅 I will forever dance with the perfectly balanced fruit forward first round impression, and enjoy the lingering whispers of the smoky finish. Happy 26th birthday to my sweet sweet gir! — 9 years ago
eye level gravel with my hands dirty, nine pm, fifteen years, give or take, we wanted to carry, hold eachother, push, scared of what's to come and the 'what to do', i once told you, whispers, humming bird, beak-heart, "i would love to fast forward", and now, cliche on cliche, i just want to speak to you and imagine the 'what to do', clean hands at nine pm — 9 years ago
Lovely medium bodied white with a fair number of legs. Subtle notes of floral on the nose. Pears & apricots on the fore palate followed by soft but distinct minerals, and finished with whispers of citrusy lemon - lime. Enjoyed it with Tim at Tarpon Lodge on Pine Island (seafood & filet) — 5 years ago
2016, probably the best Chablis I have ever had, quintessential, so much tension that I swear the glass was vibrating. Taut quartz crystal, brine, lemon peel, ginger, with whispers of orange rind and honeyed almonds. Met winemaker/ owner Fabian who believes this vintage will peak in 5 years. Great in its infancy Si can only hope to try it as it ages. — 8 years ago
Drink and be merry and SMILE
Is that what is all about
Sometimes we drink wine that speaks loudly and sometimes it just whispers / unfortunately sometimes it cannot speak and smiling can be difficult
This wine will not disappoint and will get better / being young I am grateful this wine is speaking loudly / it is saying Big Bold Beautiful
Decanted for exactly 110 minutes - and it was amazing
Dark darker color / no transparency at all / grapes are a single vineyard on an Oakville hillside with stunning results - I love the vineyard - the wine is powerful striking finessed structured and so balanced - The nose reveals blue and red berries and even the kitchen sink and yet this is 100% cab - 200 cases
Taste are full of lush fruit flavors complemented by unique exotic minerals and spices which I think they even stuck in cinnamon and nutmeg
Will last 20 plus years and will get even better but don't be afraid to drink now - bravo GV
All smiles tonight

Great juice, light color, nice nose and those mt etna volcanic whispers going on! — 9 years ago
2006. A compromised cork led to what I feared, a wine already fading. Once decanted it went from the last whispers of youth through secondary and onto tertiary aromas and flavors in only a few hours. A good wine but ultimately disappointing. Nothing like what we enjoyed at the domaine a few years ago. C'est la vie. — 9 years ago
Clean, pure, soft... butterfly and unicorn whispers. Needed a few hours to open. In fact I thought it was best the next day (and last glass on the third ). Nose is beautiful. Palate well balanced and smooth. — 5 years ago
Clear red purple color. Red cherry and dried cranberry, mellowed by mahogany and new leather, with a hint of clover. Soft texture, warm lingering finish touches by whispers of licorice and burnt orange. — 5 years ago
Greasy garden smells, stalks of tomato, green pepper. I would swear this was Chilean by the nose..
Roasted sugarless berries, a fog of smokiness, ending with light tannins blended with acidic whispers that cone in and out of the tannins, as of a yin and yang.
Highly enjoyable. — 8 years ago

Light, soft, delicate light red florals, liquid violets, dark cherries, raspberries, strawberries, a bit of plum & blueberries and light soft spices on the nose. The body starts lean, thickens and gets darker with more tannin presence. The fruits are, blackberries, dark cherries, black raspberries, Then come, strawberries, plum, dry cranberries and blueberries as it settles on palate. Very soft & delicate baking spices of, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and whispers of vanilla, light moist dark earth, shade's of soft silty chalkiness, mellow but bright acidity and a ripe, rich, polished finish. Beautiful Burgundian style. Top of the world Auckland. — 9 years ago
Dustiness and the barest hint of cherry, soft tannins, whispers of cola. — 9 years ago

Earthy currant and dusty blackberry, eucalyptus and whispers of mint on the nose. Peppery currants and thyme on the palate with lavender and mint. Structured despite age and caper with black olive shining. .
