Perfect acidity, roasted Meyer lemon and apricot fruit. Orange color. Hint of sherry — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours a pale yellow color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart tropical and citrus fruits: passion fruit, star fruit, lemon and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and acid zip is pronounced. Drink now. — 2 months ago
This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 24 days ago

A delicious young Nebbiolo from Cascina dell Rose — 5 months ago
Wine color is starting to show the browning edges of oxidation but still has that robust purple garnet hue. Aroma is complex betraying the heavy alcohol with a spicy hint of heat. But carried with all that is the peppery, tobacco, plummy cherry notes of the grape. Drinks magnificently. Loads of jammy fruit without a heavy sweetness. Definitely leans towards a medium body with a nice sour cherry acidity to round its finish. Oak is present but only to support never to stand out in front. — 18 days ago

A decent entry-level “Super Tuscan.” I’m curious about its cellaring potential given the WS review below.
WS: 90. Flavors of cherry, strawberry, sanguine, iron and Mediterranean scrub are supported by a solid structure in this red, which is balanced overall, with dusty tannins and a resonant finish. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2026 through 2040. 27,500 cases made, 10,200 cases imported.
