In general i was more impressed by the PN in the region on this trip than I was last year. This is a good example of why. Fruit, earth, good acidity. — 6 years ago
Delicious flavorful from the first sip to the last drop. — 7 years ago
Full mouth experience and a delight for a Pinot. Enjoyed at home with a Gouda and salami. Purchased on recommendation of store clerk. $18.99 per bottle. — 8 years ago
Great value, some of the more expressive fruit notes that I've had out of a Finger Lakes Riesling — 9 years ago
Smooth and extremely drinkable.

@LangmeilWinery never seems to fail to deliver. We don't see a wide array of wines but they're definitely a fave. — 13 years ago
Cherry, cranberry, raspberry, strawberry, currant and oak. Light-bodied and soft tannins. — 5 years ago
Don’t always love white wines, but enjoyed this one a lot — 5 years ago
Easy drinking, pretty sweet though the finish lives up to semi-dry. Pear, peach, apple. — 6 years ago

Extremely complex and full of acidity. Aromatics of lemon, Granny Smith apple, basil, wet stones and rubber. The pallet features flavors of lemon pith, peach, green apple and slate. Straw colored and lively. Hint of fruity sweetness on the finish. Nice FLX expression of this outstanding Eastern European grape! — 7 years ago
Perfect with the mixed grill. — 8 years ago

Nice easy drinking Gruner. Mineral notes with cinnamon, white pepper and green apple. 2020 One of my favorite Gruner Veltliner — 4 years ago
Dry, but not flinty, with a touch of fruit and a lot of minerality. Peach, apricot, apple, and honey. Light and crisp! — 5 years ago
A pre-dinner bottle while we do meal prep tonight.
Prior notes still apply:
Nose has lime zest, lime juice, green hay, wet granite/limestone pebbles, oxidized green apple peel, polyethylene tubing and tangerine peel.
Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance. — 6 years ago
What a delightful red. Definitely fruity but singing acid keeps it very interesting. Very high qpr. — 7 years ago
On tap. One of the original greats. Dank, juicy, crunk. #threefloyds #paleale — 8 years ago

We had the pleasure of opening the 2021 Hermann J. Wiemer.
On the nose there was nice strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, herbaceous notes and green bell pepper.
On the palate there was good strawberry, raspberry, red plum, green bell pepper, a bit of oak and crushed gravel.
This is a medium bodied wine with light velvety mouthfeel medium to medium + acidity and medium to medium + fine tannins that leaves with a medium to medium + red fruit gravel dust finish. Well it looks as though spring can't make up her mind. This weekend looks to be a bit on the cooler side so lets get out and enjoy ourselves. Please stay safe and healthy.
