Nicely concentrated Sicilian red, with muscular tannins backed by deep and dark fruit with somewhat sharp acidity. Reminds me of a young California Central Coast red blend. Nice pairing with red sauce pasta but probably better after four or five years of softening in the bottle. Had the 2023 vintage with Paccheri Lisci (spicy pork sausage sugo, fennel, sage, pecorino) from Jame Enoteca in El Segundo, CA. — 2 months ago
Golden delicious apples, citrus, stones, soft tannins and medium plus acidity. Better than it’s been. — 20 days ago
Tobacco, coffee, chocolate, mint, ripe cherries at palate. Cranberries and chocolate at nose. Really great susumaniello.. — 2 months ago

Incredible Nerello Mascalese wine from the slopes of Mt Etna. Made with Burgundian precision by Terre Nere. Bursting with vibrant minerality and fresh dark red fruit supported by soft, small grain tannins guiding it to a smooth, lingering finish. Rivaling a Grand Cru from Burgundy. If you haven’t tried a wine from Mt Etna yet, this is the year!!! — a month ago

it’s giving dirt! In the best way. Stone fruit. Fresh acidity. Barnyard funk. I love this — 2 months ago
