Simply beautiful Beaujolais the aromas bursts out of the glass. Floral and delicate like walking through a garden on a sweet spring day. Tons of red perfectly ripe fruits such as strawberries and red cherries. Just as delicate on the pallet as the nose with mouth filling flavors of cherry and red current. Surprisingly long finish that lingers throughout your pallet. Perfect BBQ wine on a cool summer night simply fresh and enjoyable. — 8 years ago

Wow. Wine of the day. After Montrose, Calon Segur, and Cos D'Estournel, this is simply outstanding. — 12 years ago
Broke wine opener. Very sweet. — 12 years ago
Big, rich and bold. Lightly sweet up front and tart + spice on the back. A bit on the tart side of the spectrum for me. Tart fruits really pop! — 7 years ago
Simply amazing ! — 9 years ago
Simply superb, mature enough today with all the left bank Bordeaux assets: color, refined tannins, earth and berry spirit God Bless! — 9 years ago
Proof that one does NOT have to spend a lot of money to acquire wines that will age gracefully into a beautifully mature wine 36 years of age. The usual pepper note is there that tells you are with a Cabernet Franc from #chinon, but the real beauty unfurls with the elegant spices of tobacco leaf and old leather, notes of forest floor, subtle mint, dried red currant and cassis fruits. Simply beautiful and I will now go buy a case of 2010 and say goodbye to it in storage for at least ten years. $20-25 retail for the recent vintages. #1979 #smashingpumpkins #raffault — 10 years ago

Simply perfect. Defies all attempts to break it down into component parts. Wow. Bravo, @Cathy Corison ! — 11 years ago
Sweet for a Chardonay with a hint of peach and the pineapple tartness but not really a "pineapple" taste. — 11 years ago
Go-to Pinot. Smooth. Kroger $8. — 12 years ago

This had some funk to it.. very anti-Aussie in its approach. Shiraz/Mataro blend with a zippy, fresh quality to it. Slightly chilled, this’d be good. — 7 years ago
