Fenocchio's 2015 Barolo Cannubi is soft and inviting, with racy curves, expressive aromatics and fine balance. Sweet tobacco, licorice, dried herbs, cedar and sweet red cherry are some of the nuances that emerge. The radiance of the vintage is evident in the wine's ripe profile and slightly forward flavors. The 1990 has a lovely light almost herbal nose with a fairly dark red color with minimal browning of the edges & a moderate body with good complexity & good acid & balanced tannins & lovely complex aftertaste. It will last 5-15 years in a cool cellar. — 7 years ago

Very funky- dark, fermented cherries and blackberries, rubber/tires, leather, hairdryer. Enjoyed this, but took awhile to warm up. Definitely recommend pairing with food, was great with beef short rib, alone it is a bit much. — 9 years ago
