Excellent wine from Costco — 4 years ago
From Costco Houston for about $10. Pleasant, a bit on the sweet side but would buy again. — 5 years ago
Extremely smooth and velvety. Would highly recommend. Full bodied but still felt light on the palate. — 5 years ago
Rich, round and intense while also showing great focus and purity. Showing really excellent now with minimal reduction, great power, concentration and precision. The ripe vintage is definitely evident, but there is just enough cut to keep it all in balance. And the balance and focus becomes even more evident as it unfurls in the glass and in the decanter. Ripe stone fruits, lemon-lime, white flowers, exotic spice and a touch of honeysuckle. Mineral infused finish with great length and tension. Dancer is a true star in Burgundy and I’m glad to find it on the terrific wine list at The NoMad Hotel! — 5 years ago
Broke my mid-week alcohol fast for this...
Nose displays honey, straw and oak. First thing that hits you on the palate is honied almonds and white stone fruits. A little too much oak treatment leads to a lack of precision. It has a curvy posture, with very little acid to counterbalance the oak. Good showing, even though the oak monster showed its ass. At the right price, it’s a buy. — 7 years ago

Been drinking lots of Cabernet Sauvignon. Was in mood for a Pinot noir. Well worth the price. Soft and light with the cherry and vanilla offset with a peppery note. — 4 years ago
Highly drinkable for being so young,
Suckling 97 review as follows
Currant, red-tea, chili, chocolate and lemon-zest aromas. Chalk and crushed gravel, too. It’s medium-bodied with tight, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Sleek and tight with crunchy berry, mineral and zesty notes on the finish. Complex. Pretty center palate to this. Extremely polished. Try from 2025. - James Suckling

The 2018 Tour Saint Christophe represents a new level of elegance, precision and finesse for this estate in Saint-Émilion's Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes district. Silky and exceptionally polished, the 2018 oozes class. Moreover, the heavy extraction and strong torrefaction notes that marked previous vintages of the recent past have been replaced by beautifully precise, vibrant fruit. Tour Saint Christophe is one of best values in Saint-Émilion. I haven't always loved Tour Saint Christoph, but I love the 2018. It's a fabulous effort from Technical Director Jérôme Aguirre and his team. Don't miss it. - Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media — 4 years ago

🤌 you no speak Italian Eric?Popped and poured, but notes from 1.5 hrs open. On the nose: a glorious, dense, melange of fruit, lees, marzipan, herbs. On the palate: fantastic acidity and density, soft and very fine mousse, ripe grapefruit, laserlike precision, soft bitter herbs..just stunning, but would have been better with oysters.
Day 2: Wow. Soft oxidative notes...complex and yet so drinkable. Utterly fantastic. — 5 years ago
Clean & clear as a mountain spring, with salt, crushed rocks, a whiff of herbs and some reductive naphtha. On the palate this is linear & clearcut yet with precision & depth, good pure yellow fruit and lemony acidity following. Finishes off with, again, a salty mineral streak.
I find the Alzinger Rieslings much better than his Veltliners. And they improve immensely with time. This is still a baby and will continue to grow, even though it’s ‘only’ a Federspiel.
Delicious stuff. — 6 years ago
Literally next to Chassagne by a few yards. One of the best value White burgs I’ve ever had. Just a stunning wine. Exuberant nose of Apple and pear with huge minerality. Wow. Amazingly clean and dripping with purity. Palate has laser like precision and wonderful acidity and almost a sweetness from the intense minerality and fruit. So complex and juicy with intense structure. What grace and elegance and density. An amazing wine and value. With air it gets gorgeously mineral and super refined with wonderful compactness and just stunningly well made. — 7 years ago
Nose has the classic porphyry aromas and are just wonderful. It’s so expressive. Such mineral precision. Insane clarity of wet stone aromas. Nose is a bit quiet as well as it’s too cold. Palate is hauntingly elegant with unreal rockiness and sappy minerality. Not much fruit right now but the underlying architecture is perfect. Stunning purity. This is a rock star. Literally. What intense minerality on the finish but so so elegant. Just stunning. Some apricot now on the nose. Crystalline purity and just so well made and everything in its place. A stunner. — 4 years ago
Tried this about a year ago, tried again, aged nicely! HALL Wines is located in Napa Valley and employs organic small-vine viticulture and precision winemaking. ‘16 is a blend of 98% Merlot and 2% Cab Sauv. Very deep Ruby with rich berry fruit aromas, complex but not overpowering adding a touch of floral and spice. On the palate rich fruit, raspberry and cherry flavors with sweet vanilla, cacao and some oak. Smooth tannins, great balance, long finish, a joy to drink. — 5 years ago
Slightly sweet, smooth finish — 6 years ago
Highly concentrated with superb precision, offering flavours of orange peel, honey and candied fruit, with a crisp citrus component underneath. A great wine. — 6 years ago
Beautiful nose. Wow. Honeyed and so ripe but with incredible purity and detail. Tangerine and a hint of sponti. Beautiful minerals. A sense of depth. Wow. What a palate. Freak show. That acidity is LIT! 🔥🔥. Wow, such depth and elegance with super precision but also that loose vibe this wine always has. Lovely, long finish. Stunning. Holy sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit. Bottle 2 of my bday wine tasting, brought by Lauren and Jack. Delicious! Blackberry, limestone, vanilla. Supposedly licorice but I didn’t get that. — 3 years ago
