We had the 2012 and it was fabulous. All the purity and grace of grand cru Chardonnay, with elegant depth from the honey and nut overtones that age brings. This was a wonderful experience. (Pro tip: Please don’t drink it too cold: you’ll miss so many of the flavors!) — 2 months ago
Vintage 2022 | Fresh, saline, minerals. Aligoté is confusing to recognize when tasting blind, it can also be rather meager. But this Aligoté is textbook: fine citrus in smell, tones of Granny Smith in first sips, very very vibrant and juicy. You long to a new sip of the wine. Paired with Asian yaki udon with pointed cabbage, oystermushrooms, bacon strips and a viscous sauce in which I added a bit saké. — 7 months ago
Lovely smell and full mouthfeel. A real kick from the tannins to end it off (a tad too much without food). — 2 years ago
Solid champagne producer vintage in, vintage out. This is an EB.
I did not pay $177, $89. — 2 months ago
See previous Delectable notes. Mid lemon in colour - brilliant clarity. On the nose and palate notes of ripe grapefruit, fresh herbs, wet stone and minerals. Medium plus acidity. The following night it still retains the tension and power when initially tasted. — 3 months ago
Truly one of the most singular wines in the world attaining mythical-like status, it’s wild and vibrant with a captivating strawberry-spice and floral bouquet with a deep, exceedingly elegant palate and a scintillating finish that goes on and on. Amazing wine and the most perfect summer red. — 3 months ago
Skinny, acidic, hints of apple maybe. — 6 months ago

Previous bottle tasted a year ago in September 2024. Mid lemon in colour. Aromatics of struck match, white flowers, lemon and sea spray. Hasn’t got the delicious ripe fruit I am used to with Australian Chardonnay but it does have its charm and attraction in a more mineral restrained style. — 2 months ago
This shows some barnyard, horsey notes up front, likely Brett, but for more Brett-tolerant folks like me, it’s the lovely fresh redfruits underneath and crisp and lively acidity, together with the lingering finish, that make this a lovely CdP!! But I would note for those who are very Brett-intolerant, you may not care for it at all. — 3 months ago

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A pale lemon color in the glass with barely visible little green flecks. Lemon zest and apples of different varieties on the nose. Limestone and honey with a touch of sugar. Minerals and chamomile. So very sexy.
Lithe, lively, and lovely. Medium plus acidity with a ton of character and elegance. Very pure and fresh, clean. There’s a hint of slivered almond initially in the mouth followed by butterscotch and nectarines. Plenty of citrus notes here. A long finishing leaves you wanting more. A truly compelling Burgundy. — 9 months ago
