Subtle yet sophisticated. Reminds me of a wine one would drink at a ten course dinner. — 6 years ago
Nose: classic barnyard red fruits very distinctive to Burgundy. Palate: spice confirmed red fruits slightly underripe, such a bright acidity. Good balance. Had it paired with herb rubbed pork roast and broccoli & cauliflower, Herb stuffing and cheddar mashed potatoes. Heaven — 7 years ago
Fruit-forward, assertively flavored Pinot. Offered some complexity in showing a range of fruit from attack through finish, but would have liked a bit more savory notes. Paired well with escargot and Coq au Vin. — 8 years ago
Tart cherry and herbal underbrush on nose with the same on palate. Riper than expected with complex secondary notes showing through. — 9 years ago
Had the 2009 & 2005 with cod in a tomato, white bean, and garlic broth. Group wine dinner. — 9 years ago

First of Red Burg trio at Wallflower. Bigtime fruit with developing structure. This was my second favorite. — 10 years ago
1990 vintage - stored always in the same cellar in optimal conditions, decanted before drinking - a great complex mysterious multiple layer aged Pinot, very earth and tertiary connected wine, with power and finesse in the same time - a great experience 😊 — 10 years ago
Missing Zach + Lyds for the holiday! — 6 years ago
From split opened half hour before consumption. Earth, red fruit, and a hint of funk. Smooth tannins; searing acidity. Probably could use another five years to achieve better balance. — 7 years ago
Still Champagne, Pinot Noir... light, earthy, and delicious. Pinot Noir looking for a turkey day meal! — 8 years ago
Gorgeous floral, fruity, and earthy nose, lovely silky texture — 8 years ago
Great structure. Complex layers of primary secondary and hints of tertiary. Has years to go. — 8 years ago

Ripe, powerful, complex. Brilliant ruby-garnet. Haunting flavors, tremendous grip and persistence. Fruit-forward, black cherries and kirsch framed by limestone and earth and generously toasted oak. More defined flavors will emerge in a few years, but this is a complex and vibrant wine that will coat your palate aggressively with dense fruit. — 6 years ago
