One vintage after another, really nice wine at a really nice price. — 10 months ago
Bordeaux style Napa Cabernet, great nose, mushroom, truffle, baking spices, very drying tannins and some sourness even after an hour or two. Stored overnight and tried again and totally different wine, smooth, fruity with depth and a great finish. This is really solid and a nice surprise. — 7 years ago
Nice Cabernet. Not expensive. Light tannins clear after opening — 8 years ago
Has become a favorite! Nice currant taste, smooth — 9 years ago
To fruity to be a 9.0, but close. Spicy finish is very nice but passes quickly. Strong and pleasant on the nose. Definitely worth a try. 2013 vintage. — 10 years ago
Very nice pinot noir but not traditional by pinot standards. Very clean and complex. Layers of great berry fruit and spice. Interesting textures. Very pleasant finish. — 10 years ago
Nice, dark and fruity. Nice tasting — 5 months ago
Smooth, silky finish, nice fruit balance with vanilla , oak and coffee notes — 7 months ago
No problems noted despite the age. Very good, but not outstanding. The nose was great at about 30 minutes-1 hour in the glass. The nose seemed to fade over the evening, but still very nice. Acidity is notable. Earthy flavors, tobacco, dried fruit. Great experience trying a 41 year old vintage! — 8 months ago
Okay - fine. It’s a good, probably great wine. Overpriced? Yes. Opus is filled with pretentious douchbags? Double yes. But this is a well-made wine bridging a gap between Napa and Boudreaux. Dusty nose with menthol, earl grey tea, tobacco, flowers, cassis, and creamy dark fruits. It has a really nice velvety finish. — 7 years ago
Fantastic Bottle. Notes of Black Cherry with a Vanilla Oak Finish. Soft tannins gives a nice, but not overbearing, leathery mouthfeel. — 8 years ago
Very nice Cab for the price. Another fine vintage from winemaker Joseph Carr. Thanks for the memory! — 10 years ago
Medium-dark-red color, very little browning at rim, this shows a little of the “overripe” notes I’ve found in 1990 Bordeaux (and CdPs), nice concentration and depth, long finish, the ripeness carries into the finish and detracts just a little. — 5 months ago

Pale lemon in color.
Light nose of citrus fruits, minerals and light yeast.
Medium-bodied with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, green apples, brioche, earth, light yeast, minerals, spices and herbs.
Long finish with limes and herbs.
This is a very tasty Champagne, albeit still young. Elegant and rich with nice complexity. Crisp and refreshing.
Didn't love it right out of the bottle, and needed 45 minutes of airtime to open up properly, so be patient.
I've had a few different vintages of this Champagne, and always enjoyed it.
Needs 5 years to mature properly, and will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.
A blend of 51% Chardonnay and 49% Pinot Noir. Aged for 8 years on its lees.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

Purple in color with a purplish rim.
Fruity nose with blueberries, black plums, stewed cherries, raisins, figs, light oak, licorice, spices, chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with black currants, plums, cherries, spices, light wood, peppercorn, dark chocolates and herbs.
Medium plus on the finish with soft tannins and tangy cherries.
This 3-year-old Zinfandel from Sonoma County is drinking very nicely now, and will continue to age nicely in the next few years.
Showing nice complexity with a soft mouth feel. Fruit forward and easy drinking. Rich, but not 'too much'.
The alcohol is not very noticeable at this point, although it is very high, so watch out.
I've had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent. I usually like it better with a little more age.
Wine Spectator 92 points.
A good everyday wine. Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with burger and fries.
A blend of 83% Zinfandel, 10% Petite Sirah, 3% Alicante and 4% Mixed Reds.
15% alcohol by volume.

I live this! This is my favourite sip and socialise wine. Probably not for pairing with a meal more for dessert as it is lovely and sweet. Pairs nice with I icecream or cheesecake. — 10 months ago
Paired well with our take out and family game night. Nice finish. — 5 years ago
The Clark & Telephone Vineyard PN gave me a long lasting impression, and this Las Alturas is very similar in style in its richness and intensity.
Ripe plum, blackberry jam, eucalyptus, fig, black tea, and Chinese medicinal herbs bursting on the nose. Palate has more texture and a more elegant feel with dark chocolate and spice. Firm and a bit dusty tannins. This tastes more like a blend of Zinfandel and Cab. Nice! But again this is not the type of PN I like. — 7 years ago
Yum! Nice soft tannins, with notes of raspberry and clove. Lovely to end the night with :) — 9 years ago
Very nice red blend. Many layers of flavor and a nice finish. As usual Bogle does not disappoint. — 10 years ago

Deep purple color. Aromas of blackberry, black cherry, cassis and licorice. Loads of black fruit on the palate, cigar box and earthy finish. Very nice double magnum.
