Fruity. Plummy. Grass. At berns steakhouse Tampa — 3 months ago
2013. Eleven years under a screw cap and it tastes very fresh with dark berry fruit and no visible signs of age. From the other reviews, I think the oak has probably mellowed a bit and I really enjoyed it with a meaty patty melt. — 6 months ago
Surprisingly pleasant and fun. Had it twice and drank it down both times. Cooled it a bit first. — 3 years ago
Winner of the night from the Legend Imports wine dinner at Peasant featuring a variety of beautiful wines from Australia that are not mollydooker penfolds or yellowtail.
This wine was described as Australian Montrachet and boy was that right. Anyone tasting blind would’ve picked burgundy.
Delicious. — 3 years ago
Granular, ripe and heavy. Syrupy berry and smokey notes. Quite smooth. Enjoyable? Yes. Whopping alcohol level? Yes. Worth fifty bucks? No. At mom's. — 4 months ago
One of the faves for Shiraz. Big, bold, yet easy to drink. Punchy with black and red fruits, not to tannic. — 6 months ago
Catching up on old notes. Drank this magnum with extended family on Christmas Eve. A rich ripe full bodied style showing plum and chocolate. Two Hands seems like one of those labels like Mollydooker which are better known in the USA than in Australia. — 2 years ago

As you can see from my previous Delectable notes I normally drink Mollydooker reds, particularly Carnival of Love, on cold nights in Winter. This certainly worked. Aromatics of black plum and other black fruits. The palate is ripe, sweet and full bodied - quite thick and textured. Has come together somewhat after 15 years but still a very powerful McLaren Vale Shiraz. Jeb Dunnuck’s comment of “full bore and hedonistic “ sums it up. This was the #2 wine in Wine Spectators Top 100 of 2012. — 7 days ago
