Excellent aglianico available at the Renaissance Napoli. — 4 months ago
Smooth. Perfect barolo. Sorry but it was wonderful — 9 days ago
Beautiful wine with a hint of spice. Will be even better tomorrow. — 23 days ago
Structure is on point: high acidity, long finish, full mouthfeel. Flavors are a jumbled mess though. Bruised fruit is primary. Clean up some of that and this would be fire. — 3 months ago
Fresh, fragrant, medium density. Lime, lot of cranberries, peppers, pinch of raspberry.Medium, mild and very balanced tanins. Had 2019 vintage in 2025 — 4 months ago
Ok but really does not blow my doors off. Raspberry mostly. Needs air and gets better. — 16 days ago

Popped and poured into red Solo cups. The 1997 “Radici” Riserva pours a garnet color with a near opaque core and a slightly orange rim; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and some sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of ripe, tart, and some desiccated fruit: Montmorency cherry, plum, licorice, smoked meat, balsamico, a mix of organic and inorganic earth, exotics spices and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tanning and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and earthy. This was quite the departure from the Napa wines surrounding it but made a statement. Drink now through 2037. — a month ago
