Lovely full bodied Chianti Classico Riserva still tannic on the palate and could age at least another 5 years. Very indicative of the region of Castellina in Chianti with the addition of 10% Merlot for smoothness and body. Unfortunately my last bottle of the 2008 vintage. Drinking in May, 2020. — 6 years ago

2015 vintage, great Chianti Classico Reserva. Perfect balance, light bouquet full flavor but not fruity, smooth tannins, superb on the palate and edible finish. Estate bottled, among the best of the grape we've had. — 8 years ago

375ml. Nose has crunchy black cherry fruit, and the characteristic earthiness of the region has taken on a slightly animal, feral quality in this iteration. Savory and relatively full in the mouth. A little drying and bitter at the end of the finish. — 4 days ago
