A quite different Italian blend that while very good, seems it might be limited to red meats, particularly grilled but not so much for pork or pasta dishes. I really liked it obviously but didn’t love it. The flavor is very distinct certainly but one glass at a time is enough. — 5 months ago
Very good although quite tannic. I am going to wait 4-5 years to open my remaining bottles. Well balanced. Good fruit but also leathery, some tobacco and cedar. Great QPR! Not a big wine but would definitely stand up to grilled meats, full flavored hard cheeses, crusty breads and grilled vegetables. Actually quite elegant. — 6 months ago
Excellent inexpensive Italian Rosso blend with Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot. Paired well with Buratta salad and filet as well as flourless chocolate torte. Definitely a buy at the price. — 8 months ago
Wow! What an awesome amazing wine! Might be the absolute best Petite Sirah I’ve ever drank! Marvelous nose, very soft tannins and yet enough structure and youth to suggest longer term storage. Rich, jammy purple fruit, wonderful lingering mouthfeel and just lovely texture to hold before swallowing. Definitely a keeper. — 4 months ago
A delicious blend with enough Sangiovese to pair with traditional Italian dishes and yet also goes well with meats, cheeses, crusty Italian bread or just to drink. A real bargain wine. — 5 months ago
Good vintage. Well balanced with minimal tannins. Very drinkable upon pouring and decanting really didn’t make a difference. Only the drinker can determine whether it’s worth the cost as it’s not an outstanding Brunello. I paid considerably less 10 years ago and it has increased in price significantly. — 6 months ago
Zinfandel as it should be! Absolutely at it’s peak with mild tannins, loads of spicy fruit and wonderful mouthfeel. Great to just pour and sip although it pairs very nicely with grilled meat, hard cheese and crusty bread. This would be an awesome burger wine but would also go perfectly with a nonfatty meat like filet although a rib eye would be especially good with its marbling and juicy fats. Every Meeker wine is a cut above the crowd. — 4 months ago
Chateauneuf-du-Pape is one of favorite French wines and this iteration is certainly an excellent example. Full bodied, well balanced, smooth and so good with foods. Meats, cheeses, crusty breads, or just by itself. Plenty of fruit, very little tannins and the perfect amount of time in the bottle since this variety doesn’t really lend itself to aging. Really doesn’t need much decanting. — 6 months ago
Turned. Tried 3 bottles of the same vintage with the same results. Been stored properly for the past 10 years but not idea prior. — 6 months ago

Just okay at best. Despite the high vintage ratings, this particular wine is thin with no real attributes to make me want to try it again. Highly disappointed. — 24 days ago
