High acid. Food friendly. Grapefruit — a year ago
Sourced from Howard Family Vineyard in Aptos in Santa Cruz Mountains 4 miles to the coast. Very sandy beach like soils with sea shells in the vineyard. Salinity+++, minerality, tart lemon and green apple. Broader and rounder oak textures and spices on the palate. Medium finish. Elevated acidity. Medium body. Medium+ finish. — 2 years ago
Delicious wine, pair with steak, and just love it. Bought at Verve! — 2 months ago
Would have given it maybe an 8.5 on night one. Just had one glass and it was only OK. A little sharp. It really opened up by night two and I felt like it had more flavor and character. — 5 months ago

Really only comes alive with fatty foods or cheeses. Drank at a Lioco tasting at a friend’s place and we agreed that, on its own it’s too closed up and austere, but blossoms with food! — 4 months ago
Pale pink/orange color, medium, slightly oily body with a prominent floral nose, with notes of orange blossom, slight baking notes and mandarin citrus, with a somewhat deep, underlying funk hidden in the background. Palate has prominent citrus, slightly underripe lemon and acidity from the start, with a slightly creamy finish with hints of watermelon rind and a subtle minerality that stays with you on a lingering finish. It’s very good, but I don’t know if it’s for all that often. — 2 years ago
Juicy and jammy for a Pinot. Just got back from Anderson Valley and this has the nose of a wine from that region. Pallet wise it’s very fruit forward. Good finish, easy drinking wine. — 2 years ago

2nd wedding anniversary wine! Bought in our honeymoon in July of 2022 and saved for today! This in a has aged beautifully, with a nose that’s just starting to hint at age, but still pushes forward balance between fruit like black cherries, fresh plums and velvety notes of rose, and some musty mushroomy forest floor. The color is like deep, perfect rose, amazingly big flavor for being so low abv. The acidity is still there but definitely subsiding, and being replaced with some spicieness, dark cherry, hints of licorice, robitussen, rose water, fresh olive oil, even a bit of balsamic! — 23 days ago
