2020 was the last vintage produced under Groupama ownership, as the estate was sold in April 2021 to Gerald Jicquel (the Beautiful Life Group , that also owns Fourcas-Dupré). While it is an attractive, smooth Haut-Médoc, it lacks a bit of concentration, especially if compared to some of its peers in this great vintage ( like the Barreyres 2020 I've tasted yesterday). But a nice drink in any case. Abv. 13%. — 6 months ago

No notes. Bottle offered to my friend and kept since then, again for a decade or more. Superb currently, can be kept for another 5 to 7 years easily. Cassis, oak and firm tannins, strong acid drive, tar and cigar on the nose. Great stuff ! — 15 days ago

Will always love this wine and vintage, as it is what we selected to serve at my son’s wedding, to go with an excellent beef tenderloin. Dark ruby red, light floral aroma, full bodied and a medium tannins, with a rich, juicy flavor that elevated the beef.
