Château Giscours
La Sirène de Giscours Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend

La Sirène de Giscours – Margaux 2020
Second label of Château Giscours | Margaux, Bordeaux 🇫🇷
The 2020 vintage of La Sirène de Giscours is a brilliant expression of its noble lineage. As the second wine of the historic Château Giscours, a 3rd Growth Grand Cru Classé with origins dating back to the 16th century, this bottle delivers elegance and complexity with a youthful charm.
🍇 A well-balanced blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, aged in oak barrels, the wine opens with intense red fruit aromas; think raspberry, redcurrant, and hints of violet and subtle spices. There’s a bright vibrancy to the bouquet, underscoring the freshness that defines the Margaux terroir.
On the palate, it’s refined and approachable, with crunchy fruit, polished tannins, and a graceful, persistent finish. The structure is fine-boned yet present, a hallmark of great Margaux, and makes it very drinkable now, while also showing potential for short- to mid-term cellaring.
🫶 Recommended: Decant before serving to enhance aromatic expression.
🍽 Perfect Pairings: Roasted lamb, grilled duck breast, or a plate of aged cheeses.
A beautiful snapshot of Margaux elegance at an accessible level. Santé! 🍷✨
