Méthode Champenoise Carneros Sparkling Blanc de Noirs

8.9

Blanc de Noirs Rosé with 92% PN and 8% Chard. Nice mix of strawberry, raspberry, light citrus, and touch of yeast. Soft generous palate with mellow mousses. Hint of cream soda which makes a bit too sweet for me.
Easy drinking and a crowd-pleaser. Remarkable price for the quality.

Pensées de Lafleur

Pomerol 2001

Dark rubi robe with no signs of its age. A very complex and profound nose of dark cherries, flowers, blackcurrant and anise. In the mouth its ethereal and elegant, ready and will last some time still. Excellent second wine Lafleur, the greatest Pomerol there is. — 6 months ago

Château Lafleur

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 1975

Dynamic and punchy with great fruit still. Quite four square compared to the more silky 75’s alongside with plum, violets and supple fruit. At the edges the fruit showing a touch of fatigue and a slight dryness in the long finish. Not as supple and elegant as the PÈtrus but vibrant and memorable. — 25 days ago

Carneros Sparkling Blanc de Noirs

A California classic sparkling, blue chip if you will, and bound to make you smile. This is as full bodied as sparkling gets with notes of brioche, lees, and roundness on the palate. — 9 months ago

Domaines Martin

Château Gloria Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

WOW!!!! 2017 Chateau Gloria Saint-Julien , Domaines MARTIN. - Bordeaux France!!!!!!! I have finally found an exceptional bordeaux that rocks my taste buds! The color is dark burgundy. The legs are long and slow. On the nose, there’s lots of rhubarb pie and violets! My initial pallet is tantalized with explosions of blueberries, boysenberries, cherries, and chocolate. The mid pallet quickly resolves into a velvety, slightly buttered texture. Then there is a dive straight to the finish with lots of earthy oak and cigar box with a very moderately dry finish. . This is a good one!!!!!! We purchased this in Ireland and brought it home to the USA. Unfortunately, we only bought one bottle which is already halfway gone and I’m sure as you’re reading this, it will be completely gone. — 3 months ago

Sonoma Brut Chardonnay - Pinot Noir Blend

Bright, crisp yet round. Aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and toasted brioche lead into a palate that balances fresh citrus and ripe pear with a fine. The minerality provides an elegant backbone, while the acidity keeps everything fresh. A hint of almond and a touch of sea breeze linger on the long, clean finish, offering a wine of precision and approachability. — 9 months ago
