The 2021 Sauvignon Ronco Delle Mele is delicate and understated in the glass, wafting up with hints of gingery spice and dried apricots. This is silky smooth and medium-bodied, with ripe orchard fruits and exotic spices flowing effortlessly across a juicy acidity core. A staining of saline minerals is left lingering beneath an air of inner florals as the 2021 finishes cooling and fresh. While balanced to age, I’m not sure if it matters because this vintage of Ronco Delle Mele aims to please. (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2023) — 3 years ago
2020/3/30 - 4/1 as an aperitivo, with fish soup, etc. stony and saline, very drinkable. It doesn’t have that almost riesling-like peaches and petrol character of the best Etna Bianco, but is quite nice and a good deal — 6 years ago
Birra bionda molto beverina ed equilibrata, la sua piacevole luppolatura la rende, a mio parere, una delle più apprezzate del suo genere. — 7 years ago
Elevated perfume of rose, banana, and strawberry. Cured meat, sanguine, and saline on the palate and finish. Elevate acidity, light body. — 8 years ago
A beautiful interpretation of one of Italys finest white wine grapes. Reminds me a bit of a white Burgundy but missing the acidity of the Chardonnay. White flowers, freshly sliced pear, flintstone, a touch of honey and a bit of a caramel note on the nose. You get the same component (caramel) on the palate mixed with a nice saline influence. Good finish. Definitely one of the better whites I had from Italy. Would give it a bit more time in the cellar so the oak can fully integrate. — 10 years ago
From the Wine Queen of the Dolomites, Elizabeta Foradori. Full bodied Pinot bianco. Minerals. Saline. Herbs. — 7 months ago
this is my dream white wine - mineral driven, with bright acidity and saline notes. lemon and apricot on the nose. delicious. — 5 years ago
Opaque tangerine color that reddens toward the white with pink-y hinted top. Quick, cosmic dissipation. Lacing in sheets with buttons. Tangerine was spot on in the citrus aromatics, also peach, lemon, lime, ruby grapefruit and luxardo cherry. Really pleasant and clean, zesty mouthfeel. Metallic orange, pithy grapefruit, lime zest, lemon zest, white pepper sensation, poppyseeds, saline sunflower shell, and lemon pith. Citrus is racy and real in this session hazy. Tastes like Summer. #cigarcity #hazy #hazyipa #ipa #indiapaleale #ale #beer #bier #biere #birra #biere #cigarcitybrewing #flbeer #Tampabeer #ccb #ccbfancypapers #stratahops #idaho7 — 6 years ago

Wow! This is unique and amazing. Who knew Malvasia and an ancient type of Sauvignon could taste like this. Needs air. Palate coating like honey with Asian pear, apple, butter, limes, saline quality. Lingers on the palate for many minutes. I could see this rivaling some great chardonnays for a lot of people. Could age for many more years. — 8 years ago
Violets, red and black fruits on the nose, lightly saline, mineral, almost volcanic rock palate — 10 years ago
This rare beer is delicious. The Brewery uses only grains they grow and real spring water along with sea salt from the Adriatic. Unfiltered/Unfined. A true estate beer. — 10 years ago
Grapefruit juice coloration with egg white foam. Shamrock to bubble font and naive gryphon lacing. Nettle and lemon nose grows sweet grapefruit-tangerine, and Meyer-key lime. Bite-y saline-citrus of lemon proper, candied grapefruit, hibiscus, white pepper and lime zest.

My first Grillo.
Underripe peach, green apple, key lime, honeysuckle, touch of green vegetable, and hint of white flower. Medium to full body is nicely textured with bracing acidity. Long saline mineral finish. To me this is like a hybrid of Chablis and Gruner. Lovey! — 5 years ago
Talk about a massive step up from the young Rosso we drank just before. While the former was dark fruited, this was mostly red brambles with flowers and mushrooms. Impeccably layered with compelling texture. The tannins are still firm but integrating very nicely. Lovely structure. Long, slightly saline finish. My word, what a gorgeous wine! Perfectly appropriate to drink now but this will undoubtedly drink well for at least another five years. — 6 years ago
Medium- bodied. Good acidity, light tannins, lots of berry, ripe cherry, floral but still dry, weak tea, a little saline and mineral. From Flatiron Wines. — 8 years ago
Wow, this is really very very good!
Yellow flowers, apricot, lemon curd, iodine, lovely touch of almond skin bitterness, good citric acidity, mountanous minerality, saline nuances in the loooong aftertaste. Very complex stuff, and very harmonious and well balanced, too. Stylistically somewhere inbetween a Pessac and a Puligny.
Highly recommended. — 9 years ago
Spring flowers and dried herbs on the nose. Tart cherry, black plum, and raspberry. Tons of minerals!!!! Himalayan salt, crushed slate, wet river rocks. A trip beneath the earth's crust in the shadow of Etna. This has the grip and saline acidity to cut through richness. Might be a good match with grilled sausages. Or a foil to long simmered tomato sauce. — 11 years ago
