The insight that breathing this wine is a must was respected and the difference in my initial sip to 30 minutes later was validation of the recommendation!

Deep purplish ruby red. A bit of heat on the nose with dark berries. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus bodied. More integrated on the palate than the Clone 6. Solid dark berries, black cherries and a little black fruits on the palate. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2028. — 9 years ago

The 1969 vintage has shown well with lively acidity and dusty fruit. Good bottles show a medium finish and drink like Pinot noir. Lucky to get to know a different era in Napa. #timetraveling — 10 years ago
1992. Would have been better 5 yrs ago but still very nice with dried more than fresh fruit (prune/raisin more than plum/ grape) but still a touch of tannin on first opening. Definite cedary Napa dust gives a bit of structure. — 11 years ago
Great wine for a good cause.. Nice blackberry after notes. — 6 years ago
Definitely on its last legs, but there's still life in this bottle. Sweet cherries and raspberries with a caramel sweetness to it. Drinking a part of history. — 8 years ago

Easygoing rosé. — 9 years ago
Awesome sauv blanc from a producer in Burgundy close to the Chablis border. This vineyard site has limestone soils that you can taste in this dry mineral driven wine. Bright acidity and lean body make it a great food wine and something that will be easy to enjoy all summer long. — 10 years ago

Yes, Sauvignon Blanc in Burgundy! In fact, the St Bris appellation was previously called 'Sauvignon de Saint-Bris' (before 2003). And you can ONLY use SB or Sauv Gris fruit, + max 12.8% ABV. Love the terroir and plan to show it blind just to mess with my Sancerre obsessed friends. — 11 years ago
Cherries, sandalwood and white pepper on the nose. Lovely expression on the palate, with notes of red and black fruits, overripe cherries and brown sugar. Very well done - burger and wine night at Capital Grille, Paramus.
