Very pretty. Strength in presence and impact but so tastefully done. This is our first Chambolle-Musigny and now we want more! Interested to see how it evolves over the next couple of hours but just very lovely up front right after opening — 7 months ago
Overwhelmingly harsh, not sure if this would evolve into something with time but unbearable now — 7 months ago
Fresh and candied cherries and plums. Soft and inviting, very well balanced — 2 months ago
Quaffable, not exciting but that’s not what it’s built for. Well balanced and easy drinking — 6 months ago
Nice for something outside of our wheelhouse; one review I read said it is a Rhone red from the Iberian peninsula and I thought that was a good way of describing it. Very drinkable at 12% it is bright and fresh but with the complexity of dried cherry elements — 7 months ago
Started with a bang - bright red fruits; red currants, red plums, cherry. Really popped out of the glass right away on the nose, became more subdued over the next 2 hours — 6 months ago
Incredibly refreshing - jammy without being heavy, every fruit and herb/spice presence is fairly easily identified without the wine being boring. An exciting wine to taste out of CA with a very modest sub-13% abv. Not a lot of tertiary depth but capable of making you rethink CA wine in general? Impressive — 6 months ago
Lee Hill
Intense without being too much; blackberry, prunes, tart cherry, and pomegranate. Tightly coiled but still offering up a lot of intriguing flavors and aromas. Will probably save our other bottles to see how it develops but not mad that we opened this by any means — 14 hours ago
