Excellent notes. High complexity — 2 months ago
Medium ruby in color; cherries, baking spices, and blackberry jam on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like raspberries, strawberry jam, crushed gravel, and a hint of dried herbs with a long finish. Nellie says it's not bad, but I think it's pretty good. — 3 months ago
If you're going to open the 2018 in 2023, you have to at least let it breathe. Nose is light but well defined, with sour cherries, a metallic note, and a hint of earth. Palate silky, with a smokey note. Classy. A gift from Doug B. at year end. — 3 months ago
Some specials on today at the Chelsea lounge at JFK. Thought I’d ask and look what we got. It doesn’t have as much of the typical Dom taste for me and it is still very very young, definitely still a baby. Great nose and packs a lot of citrusy flavors - they will certainly mellow over the years. Not a bad rendition, not quite hitting the super high marks with me right now, but very pleasant early p.m. bubbly on this holiday — a month ago
Medium deep copper tinged . Basically still , with a slight spritz notable on the palate. Nicely fruited still quite rich and decadent . Candied peel with slight caramel note , brioche . On the palate still fills out very well with good fresh acidity cutting the richness of the yellow fruits. Good length and balance for a wine of this age. This needs drinking won’t improve , but is still surprisingly enjoyable. — 2 months ago

Beautiful wine. So earthy, leathery, and powerful. This wine still has years of life left. A nearly perfect Cabernet Sauvignon blend with a Mediterranean twist. It tastes like an extremely high-end Chateauneuf-du-Pape dominated by a high-end Napa Cabernet. Perfect with my Greek lamb chops. I wish I could have left it open longer but I consumed it at my favorite BYOB Greek restaurant. If you find this wine at a reasonable price, buy it. At $90 a steal. — a month ago
Happy New Year to all! Still catching up on my notes from the holiday season. I was pretty spot on in this blind - basically pointed to the wine on the display shelves. Lucky guess? The wine itself was delicious. To me, it was showed true varietal typicity and was rather pure. Juicy red fruits, floral, melange of herbs, and some pepper. High acidity and tannins, yet has a suppleness that made it highly approachable at this stage. Best red of the night for me. — 3 months ago

Lovely round wine with black fruit, oak and smooth finish. Tannins are mild but keep the wine from being flabby. I’m not usually a Malbec person but this wine is delightful. — 6 days ago
